Chained quiz addon for Quiz Maker
Chained quiz addon allows you to connect your existing quizzes created by the Quiz Maker plugin. This vital addon will help you to connect the unlimited number of quizzes together within few minutes and create one quiz intended for logged-in users, instead of creating one quiz with different categories: this will definitely save your time! Each user can pass the quiz just once and if he/she has already passed the quiz which was used in the chained quiz, they also wouldn’t be able to pass it.
How to use this addon – Step-by-step guide
1. Download and install the zip file of the Chained quiz addon on your WP website via the Plugins section.
(Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin).
2. After successful activation, a new line will appear in the Quiz Maker left menu bar named Chained Quiz.
3. There you will find Add new tab where you can already create your first Chained Quiz. The first field is the title of your quiz.
4. Next field is Add Quiz where you can add your desired number of quizzes. Then you need to use Select Quiz dropbox and select quizzes you will need in the order you would like to have them.
5. Default value of Report Calculate Type field is Take quiz: it means that there isn’t any passing score specified. The user will be able to take quizzes one after another no matter what his/her score is. Pass quiz system will take into consideration the passing score of each quiz. Users can take the next quiz if only he/she has passed the previous one.
6. If you tick Print report table checkbox after passing all quizzes quiz takers would be able to see the report table. It includes the title of each quiz, score, and time of passing them.
7. Chained quiz status shows whether your quiz is published or not. Here you can also unpublish published quizzes, and they wouldn’t be shown anywhere.
8. After setting up all options you can save your Chained Quiz, copy its shortcode, go to the Posts/Pages and Add new post or paste it into existing ones. You can make changes in your quiz even after publishing it.
